AnnaLeis Caldwell grew up playing many sports but when her dad signed her up for First Tee programming in Monterey County, she fell in love with the game of golf. AnnaLeis flourished and became a familiar face at First Tee National Events as she participated in the First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, attended multiple First Tee Life Skills and Leadership Academies, was a First Tee Scholar and even spoke at The Players Championship Dinner as a spokesperson for the First Tee program.
AnnaLeis attended North Greenville University on a golf scholarship and recorded the most top 10 finishes in NGU women’s golf history, was All-Conference all four years, and was the captain her Junior and Senior year. Throughout her college career she remained involved with First Tee of Greenville, helping with classes and events.
Since graduating, AnnaLeis has worked Tournament Operations with the American Junior Golf Association, as an Assistant Golf Professional at Champion Hills Club in Hendersonville, NC and as the Director of Player Development with First Tee – Upstate South Carolina.
AnnaLeis is a First Tee Recognized Coach and in addition to First Tee classes she has also directed many other junior programs; including, LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, PGA Jr. League, Operation 36 and many other junior golf initiatives.
AnnaLeis lives in Tampa with her husband, Brad, USF Men’s Assistant Golf Coach, and their 4-year-old son Tate, who also loves the game of golf.
